I'll post a photograph taken that day along with a thought or two. I may share some photos from the past as well.

#145) Ruben H. Fleet Science Center
There are lots of hands on exhibits for kids (and adults) here. There is also an awesome IMAX domed theatre - the first to combine a planetarium and an IMAX dome.
On this day, we saw Tornado Alley and had a two and a half hour visit to the science exhibits.
My son, Ian, and the orange mystery things - The idea is to figure out how they fit together.

#144) Laurel Street Bridge, San Diego
This bridge is a landmark here. It spans the 163 Freeway right in the middle of Balboa Park. We drive under it every time we go to the park (unless we take an unusual route.) We are driving north, away from the park in these photos. My son Ian shot these for me today -
The San Diego Zoo is on the right side (as is Balboa Park) - There are places in the zoo where you can watch the cars driving past on the 163.
You can see the glare from the windshield.

#128) Fiddle Player at Crown Point
Crown Point is a short strip of bay side land in San Diego. One side is dedicated to community land used by anyone but mostly by locals here. The other side is residential and a fairly expensive, high rent area. Today, we were at a picnic on the bay at Crown Point. This beautiful lady played some beautiful music along with a group of guitarists and a couple of ukulele players thrown in for good measure. It was really a fantastic day.

#127) Bicycle - Taken By Ian with his Samsung Captivate
Got to give credit where credit is due. My 11 year old son, Ian, took this picture with his Android phone. Yes... I hate to say that he turned against Apple and insisted on buying an Android. The camera in his phone is very good...

#122) Farmers Market
The produce is so amazingly good at this little market a few miles from our house, I love shopping here.
I bought 2 dozen of these roma tomatoes to make fresh sauce for pasta:
The herbs, so aromatic:

Behind The Prado, The patio is exquisite.
This is in the inner courtyard in front of The Prado, to the left of the entrance:
This beautiful fountain has been here through restaurant changes. She guards the entrance:
