There are lots of hands on exhibits for kids (and adults) here. There is also an awesome IMAX domed theatre - the first to combine a planetarium and an IMAX dome.
On this day, we saw Tornado Alley and had a two and a half hour visit to the science exhibits.
My son, Ian, and the orange mystery things - The idea is to figure out how they fit together.
I'll post a photograph taken that day along with a thought or two. I may share some photos from the past as well.

#82) Ian & The Swing
Today, just a few minutes ago, I took a series of photos of Ian while he was swinging at the school he attends one day a week. Today is his sisters turn to be in class and so Ian gravitated to the swings after we did a page of math. I really like the action in these images.

#56) More From the Produce Market
Today was pretty dull. I didn't take any pictures... BUT, I have a few more shots from the produce market. Ian did a great job and I thought I'd share a few more.

#51,) (52,) (53) & (54)
Today, while the internet was down, my son, Ian, & I went shopping. We made a stop at Fry's Electronics, which is about 3 or 4 city blocks from our front door, then onto the produce market and finally a stop at Vons. While we were at the produce market, I gave my iPhone to Ian and asked him to take some pictures of the produce from his vantage point. I asked him to look for color, contrasting shapes, angles and parallel lines. He did such a great job, I am going to post some of them as my Picture a Day post. Giving full credit to Ian.
