I'll post a photograph taken that day along with a thought or two. I may share some photos from the past as well.

#122) Farmers Market
The produce is so amazingly good at this little market a few miles from our house, I love shopping here.
I bought 2 dozen of these roma tomatoes to make fresh sauce for pasta:
The herbs, so aromatic:
The colors, so deep and rich:

#121) All Around The Prado
Behind The Prado, The patio is exquisite.
This is in the inner courtyard in front of The Prado, to the left of the entrance:
This beautiful fountain has been here through restaurant changes. She guards the entrance:

#119) More Spanish Village in Balboa Park
The art colony in Balboa Park is such an interesting place. The art dealers, the artists and the uniqueness of each shop make it a rally fun place to wander through:

#117) Homeless in the Park
This is a photo I took into Photoshop (obviously) of a group of homeless men in the park:
This is the same man I photographed a week ago. He is homeless and he likes to stay in this area:

#115) Vintage WWII Fighter Plane
I believe this is a WWII, Grumman Hellcat, fighter plane. It's home is right in front of my favorite Mexican joint, Casa Muchado, right on Montgomery field municipal airport.

#114) The Snail
This blog is devoted to showing the versatility of the iPhone 4's camera. I took these pictures of a snail on my patio a few minutes ago. I had no extra lighting. Just the flash from the iPhone.

#109) Through the Door
Leaving The Prado Restaurant's courtyard and walking out through the arched doorway leading to the prado (the walkway through the middle of Balboa Park):
Once outside the arched doorway this is the view directly ahead:
Looking to the left this is the view, it's the bell tower that lies near The Old Globe Theatre:

#106) Behind The Prado
This is the parking lot area behind The Prado restaurant. I swear, there is not one ugly spot in this park:
You can see The Organ Pavilion from here too:
On the walkway from the parking lot. The Museums and The Prado are to the left and the Zoro Garden is to the right:
Some of the pretty, yellow flowers on the edge of the Zoro Garden:

#105) Stupid Traffic
Yes... it's time for a freeway shot or two- I was driving and so my son, Ian snapped these for me. Thanks Ian.
Do you think this looks safe? It was scary getting this close to this wreck waiting to happen:
Stopped on the 163 North - a nasty wreck was up ahead:
